Multi-drug resistant TB (MDR-TB) patients are either not receiving treatment or have been allowed out of hospitals because the government does not have the money to isolate and treat them. Of the 300 Kenyans diagnosed with MDR-TB, only 45 are receiving some form of treatment in hospitals - and remaining 255 patients are not on any structured treatment. Read source article...
