						<description><![CDATA[Well done Violet. I agree completely. There is a huge gap in reporting on HIV, AIDS and TB, specifically in North America. It's rare we hear anything about it, unless a key person speaks or a key event occurs. 

As a journalist, I've worked in newsrooms that are completely ignorant to these issues. Journalists in North America (my experience) do not know simple things like terminology or basic information about HIV and TB. I believe more journalists need to pressure their editors to cover these stories.
